Way back in 1977 the three main heroines of Star Wars signed this comic book. While touring Canada (of all places) to promote the movie the trio was making a visit to a local comic store. According to the original owner of the comic he was first in line to meet the three young stars who signed autographs and spoke to fans about the movie. The original owner did tell me that he was only allowed to get a comic book or a soft cover copy of Star Wars signed. No other items were allowed to be signed. While I've seen this comic book many times, I've never come across a copy of it signed. These are vintage signatures of the three main characters, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill and some of the finest examples of their autographs I have ever seen.

This piece was signed the same time as the comic book. As the story goes in 1977, while during press for the movie in Toronto the pair (Ford, Fisher and Hamill) signed this piece. It's an original from 1977 and one of the nicer pieces you will see signed.
Star Wars Signed Press Folder
The main three cast members are reunited on this press folder for Star Wars. Signed perfectly in blue Sharpie marker by Ford, Fisher and Hamill this was likely signed in 1977 or 1978. It's signed on the back inside cover. **I recently added George Lucas, Gil Taylor, Gary Kurtz, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker and Peter Mayhew.**
1977 Star Wars Program
Original program from the premier of Star Wars in 1977. I recently had a chance to pick this up with just the Alec Guinness signature. Because i'm sick in the head and I need more projects like I need another hole in my head i'm starting this up. Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, Anthony Daniels, Carrie Fisher, George Lucas, Phil Brown, Shelag Fraser, Gil Taylor and David Prowse have also signed. Maybe someday it will be complete?????
Phantom Menace Press Kit
Most of collection focuses on the originally trilogy, I recently picked up this cool piece. It's a press kit folder signed on the front by Samuel Jackson and Jake Lloyd. The reason I like it and paid good money for it, was for the adolescent signature of Jake Lloyd. This piece was signed by the two while they were promoting the movie in 1999 and compared to his current signature there are not too many pieces signed by Lloyd when he was this young. I'm hoping to add more names in the future.
Star Wars Creature Cantina
This is one of my many cantina projects. Yeah, call me sick in the head but what would you do here. I picked up this 8-1/2 x 11 color photo with just signature, Alfie Curtis. It's not like Curtis is just some scrub, he's an important part of the cantina. A vital member of the crowd and more importantly a tough autograph! So what should I do? For me the answer was easy, add more signatures. Also signing are Gil Taylor, Mark Hamill, Angela Staines, Rick Baker, Peter Mayhew, Christine Hewitt, Maria De Aragon, Laurie Goode, Rusty Goffe and Paul Blake. Hopefully someday, I'll have a huge group of sigs on here. You have to admit, it's a great item and seeing a real Curtis autograph is something you don't get to set your eyes on every day.

This is just me being stupid. I fully realize I'll never probably complete this magazine but I'm giving it a shot anyway! I'm so far off from being anywhere close to complete it's not even funny. I will admit, there are some pretty solid names here and I'm sure I will continue to add some new one's in the coming months and years. Vanity Fair Photo Shoot
I would call this the motherload of all Star Wars items. One piece tying the entire saga together. Albeit it in street clothes, actors from all six films are pictured together along with George Lucas and a few CG favorites! I'm really sick for starting this one off and to be honest in my heart of hearts I know it's a wild goose chase. With Neeson, Portman, McDiarmid and Lee and pretty much going to be S.O.L. on this one. But what the hell, I'm always up for a challenge and I'm giving this one a shot.
