Signed Casette Tapes (reverse)
James, Cliff, Lars & Kirk
James & Cliff
These are two different covers (inside) to Ride the Lightning cassette tape signed on the inside.  Cliff Burton, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Lars Ulrich have each signed perfectly.  The second one features just James and Cliff.  These were both signed sometime during 1986.

Group 3x5 Collection
James, Cliff, Lars & Kirk
These seem to fit so well next to eachother.  This is a very nice 'set' of 'Tallica' graphs, circa 1985-85.  These were probably once together on a sheet of paper then they were cut out and mounted onto 3x5's.  Great presentation and perfect examples of the boys autographs.
Signed Beer Coaster

This item typifies Metallica in their early years.  Drinking!  They did alot of it and this item, a coaster from a bar in England best exemplifies what this band was about for years.   Known to many of their adoring fans as Alchoholica, they lived up to that reputation and then some.  Each has signed this piece which I purchased from the original owner.  Signed circa 1985 the boys (minus Lars, maybe he had a headache?) captures the boys at one of their better off-stage activities.  Drinking. **I recently added Lars Ulrich signature to this piece.  When I asked him to sign this before the band left their hotel for their November 8 show in Moline, Illinois he said to me, "are you sure you want me to deface this."  Of course I replied and the rest is history.  Yet another piece finished and completed.

The Banner (Metallica at it's best!)

In my years of collecting autographs I have owned some unbelievable autographs.  Autographs that I truly cherish and enjoy looking at.  This piece stands above them all.  Printed on the old style computer paper, the kind I used to (and I'm sure many others) used to print out their book reports in junior high.  Printed across this monstrosity is the word METALLICA.  It's simple, definitely a statement about the love of one of greatest rock acts of all time.  It's sprawls almost four feet across and is penned and inscribed by the original Four Horseman.  After seeing this you'll understand why my love for this piece is above all.

Signed Tour Shirt from 1985
James, Cliff, Lars & Kirk

I was pretty sure I had just about everything signed by Metallica until I saw this gem.  It's a large size tour shirt from their August 17, 1985 stop at Castle Donington, England.  This date officially falls under the Ride the Lightning tour and at this time the band was playing a few dates here and there and this was one of them.  I can't imagine many of these shirts having survived this day, let alone one of them signed.  This one is signed perfectly by the Four Horseman.  Another rarity and a great piece of Metallica history.

Autograph Book
James Hetfield
Cliff Burton
Kirk Hammett
Lars Ulrich
With over 90 autographs this circa 1985-87 autograph book is packed with some of rock-'n-roll top acts of the 1980's.  Besides Metallica signing on a single page each, Anthrax, Slayer, Dio, Exodus, Dokken, Guns n Roses have signed on the pages of this well kept autograph book.  I purchased the book from the original owner who got all the signatures himself.  Another unique item, capturing the boys during their early years.
Signed and studio used drumhead
Signed by James, Lars, Kirk and Jason
While this isn't the flashiest of Metallica items that I have in my collection it's another of my favorites.  In 1996, after their Chicago area Lolapalooza tour stop, James and Lars spent a few hours at the radio station where I was working.  They were doing a live radio show and afterwards taped a segment with our show which we aired a few weeks later.  During the few hours that James and Lars were hanging out we talked about all sorts of things.  One of which was a video that I had gotten somewhere and James wanted it.  I said no problem, of course I was going to give it to James.  The next day I met their tour manager at their hotel, dropped off the tape and he asked me if there was anything that I wanted in exchange.   I said I would like a signed used drumhead, some sticks and maybe some guitar picks.  A week later this came in the mail.  Just like I asked.  A great piece with a great story attached!
Signed Drum Head (Second Line-up)

A small drumhead penned in black Sharpie marker by the band's most successful lineup:  James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Jason Newsted.
