This is the movie that started it all. In 1977 throngs of sci-fi junkies, geeks, dweebs and the curious lined up outside of movie theatres across the country to see the latest and greatest invention of George Lucas. For people like me, this is where it started, the sickness that is Star Wars. I was hooked. Yeah, I was only seven years old at the time, but I was on the hook and not letting go. At the moment I first saw the movie my life wold forever be changed. I could argue both the positive and negative as to the effect that his particular movie has had on my life. I would like to think of it as a positive experience. If you ask my wife, she's definitely in the negative camp! some of the sagas most memorable moments are captured on screen in Lucas first SW movie... the introduction of the major characters included my favorite Hank solo and the demise of the great Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi.
